4’ x 6’ 4” A beautiful Kurdish village rug with a repeated paisley design that incorporates other designs in each paisley. The whimsical nature of the design inside the paisley forms in the main field and the beautiful and colorful border in antique red color with designs in yellow, blue, orange, and green brings everything together. Finally, the abrash colors especially visible on the border is the result of the use of organic vegetable dyes that change gradually over time and add to the artistic value of the rug.
