8’ 6” x 12’ 2” Vintage Persian Mahal Sultanabad carpet from the late 1800s with a large pattern allover design in a red field and a very unique turquoise green/blue corner spandrels. . The very unique large-format designs of green, blue, ivory, and red add to the beauty of the rug. The primary border is in dark blue with geometric designs in blue, turquoise, pink, and other wonderful colors. The rug has a short pile and is in overall good condition as shown in the photos and the video. The Ziegler Mahal Sultanabad carpets woven in Persia from the mid-1800s have become world-renowned and are very desirable because of their color scheme and open designs.
