Description
12' x 18' 8" The mansion size "Manchester" Kashan is truly a masterpiece in design and color and in excellent condition with vibrant colors. The Manchester Kashan rug has an "allover" design of the vase, flower vase, vine scroll, and palmette set in a rich and vibrant red color field. The major border color is dark blue with minor borders in gold
The so-called “Manchester" name comes from the Merino sheep wool that was imported to Persia from Manchester England to weave this carpet. The wool is extremely soft and has a lustrous luxury and richness resembling all silk rugs. This makes photography of such a rug very difficult but fortunately the video does a much better job presenting the true colors and the overall beauty of the rug. The "Manchester Kashan" rugs are renowned worldwide for their beauty because of their brilliant design and the high quality of the wool used in weaving the carpet.
