Welcome to The Persian Knot Gallery

Curated Collection of Authentic 19th and The Early 20th Century Fine Handwoven Rugs, Tapestries and Textiles From Around the World

$6,900.00

This striking vintage runner from Northwest Persia features a bold geometric medallion pattern inspired by the region's iconic Heriz, Serapi, and Karajeh weaving traditions. Handwoven in a village workshop, the runner showcases five square medallions set along a richly abrash field, with vibrant blue tones that continue through the intricately detailed border.

The use of vegetable dyes and traditional hand-knotting techniques give this piece its signature character, with beautiful abrash color variations that add depth, warmth, and authenticity. The abrash blues—ranging from soft sky to deep Persian blue—enhance the visual rhythm and reflect the handmade artistry of the piece.

Timeless yet bold, this wide-format runner is ideal for hallways, grand entryways, or layered in eclectic interiors. Its fusion of heritage design and rich color palette makes it a standout piece for collectors and interior designers alike.
