Curated Collection of Authentic 19th and The Early 20th Century Fine Handwoven Rugs, Tapestries and Textiles From Around the World

$14,900.00

This 19th Century Turkish Oushak Runner features a striking all-over geometric design that exemplifies the bold yet elegant aesthetic of Anatolian village weaving. The main field showcases large, angular motifs in shades of yellow and blue set against a soft pale pink background—a rare and desirable color combination that adds warmth and sophistication to any interior.

The border is rendered in rich saffron yellow, flanked by light green sub-borders, all adorned with intricate geometric patterns that echo the tribal artistry of the region. Handwoven using wool for both the pile and foundation, this runner is remarkably durable while maintaining a soft and luxurious feel underfoot. The use of organic vegetable dyes has allowed the colors to mellow beautifully over time, developing a patina that adds character and authenticity. With a full, lush pile and excellent condition, this Oushak runner is a timeless piece ideal for hallways, gallery spaces, or layered interiors.
