This early 20th-century Turkish Oushak rug is a rare and exceptional find, distinguished by its near-square proportions—a format highly sought after by designers and collectors for its versatility and aesthetic balance.

Woven with a large central medallion set against a rich red field, the rug features a harmonious palette of chartreuse, soft pink, brown, pale yellow, and ivory. Each corner is adorned with subtle square motifs that echo the central design, enhancing its symmetry and refinement. The piece is elegantly framed by a green border with stylized floral elements in red, ivory, and golden tones.
