Description

This exquisite vintage oversized Persian Sarouk rug features an allover design of grand floral bouquets in rich red tones, beautifully framed by a dark blue border adorned with complementary floral motifs. A classic example of early 20th-century Sarouk craftsmanship, the design is both balanced and expressive—timeless in its elegance.

Woven with exceptionally fine wool, the surface has a lustrous sheen that catches the light much like silk, adding depth and movement to the pattern. The rug boasts a full, plush pile and superior construction, making it not only a stunning decorative piece but also one built to last for generations.

Sarouk rugs are celebrated for their iconic bouquet and vase motifs, traditionally set against deep red fields with striking blue borders. This piece exemplifies that heritage, offering both visual richness and lasting value—a true heirloom-quality work of art.
