Curated Collection of Authentic 19th and the Early 20th Century Rugs, Tapestries and Textiles Artistically Handwoven in Persia, the Caucasus, Anatolia, and Around the World
A beautiful vintage Persian Sarouk rug from the first quarter of the 1900s, finely handwoven with exceptional detail and color harmony. The rug features a floral design set on a rich red field, accented by blossoms and leaves in shades of green, blue, yellow, and pink. A classic navy border elegantly frames the composition, while the corner spandrels are rendered in a rare and striking turquoise blue — a color seldom found in Sarouk weavings and highly sought after by collectors.
