Tabriz 1226

A beautiful Persian Tabriz room size rug in a classic floral pattern in ivory, salmon, camel and green from the late 1900s.  The Tabriz from a fine workshop has a central medallion in a floral pattern in salmon, green, blue, and red colors.   The corner spandrels are green and gray with a floral design. The Tabriz rug has a wool pile on a cotton foundation with silk highlighting of the flowers throughout which shimmers under the right light. The ends have been finished in a kilim (flatweave) with the signature of the workshop.  The rug is in a new excellent condition.
