Description
5’ 6” X 9’ 4” Beautiful room-size Tabriz rug from the early 1900s in an allover pattern similar to Safavid dynasty era “Sickle and Leaf” pattern with a navy blue background color. The branches and leaves are in caramel, chocolate, rust, and pale blue colors. It has a wonderful primary border in camelhair or tan color with secondary borders in baby blue color. The accent colors in the field and border include brown, tan, ivory. It has a fantastic design and color that takes one back to the golden age of Persian rug weaving in the 16th and 17th centuries.
