Breathtaking beautiful room-size Persian Tabriz Mahi rug from the mid-1900s. A true masterpiece in a classic ageless design with an extremely fine weave and a high knot density. The rug was hand-knotted by artisans in one of the finest workshops in the city of Tabriz. The field is in a dark navy blue. The corner spandrels are in pale yellow or cream color. The center medallion is in a rich dark red color. The border is in a dark navy blue with floral designs in red, green, blue, and brown colors.
