3′ 7″ x 6′ 7″ A beautiful Uzbek soumak kilim from Central Asia from the early 1900s. The Uzbek Kilim is woven in the soumak method with rows of different designs in ivory, brown, green, and burgundy colors. The Kilim is a great representation of the artistry and technical abilities of Uzbek tribal weavers and since it contains so much beautiful design and its special size this also could and should be used as wall tapestry art.
