2’ 8” x 5’ 2”        Vintage Baluch tribal area rug in an all over geometric pattern from the late 1800s.  One of the most unique, colorful, and beautiful “three-dimensional” pattern in an antique tribal rug that we have seen.  The Baluch tribal rug from southwestern Persia uses a rich brown background.  The allover design in the rug consists of “three-dimensional” geometric forms with a combination of dark navy blue, purple, yellow, orange, and brown accent colors. The ends of the rug have Kilim weave in addition which adds to the beauty of the rug.  The rug has very high-quality wool and shimmers under light.
