6’ 8” x 12’ 5″ 19th century Persian Farahan in an all-over Herati pattern in a room or a gallery/library size. This extremely finely hand woven Farahan rug from Western Persia has a “Herati” all-over pattern set in a navy blue color background with designs in brick red, ivory, and green. A truly fantastic border design set in a highly sought-after “Farahan Pistachio” color with palmalate designs in blue, green, red. Although the rug has a very short pile and is worn in some areas, the beauty of the design and fine colors are clearly visible.
