The classical design and luminous, resilient wool quality of this outstanding vintage Persian Kashan carpet create an impression of consummate refinement. The design and color scheme in this Kashan is very similar to the rug 1516 making these two rugs (1516 &1517) "a near-identical pair" which is very desirable and rare.
