4’ 7” x 8’ 1”    Vintage hand knotted Persian Kashan area rug in floral pattern set on a wonderful aqua blue field color and a teal green border from the early 1900s. The design contains leaf, palmette, and vine motifs with a floral cartouche pale green color border. There is a small central medallion in a pale green color with floral designs in red, pink, and navy. The combination of a wonderful design in the field and border added to truly a gorgeous blue color from one of the best rug workshops in Kashan in the early 1900s makes this extremely rare and highly desirable and collectable artisan rug.
