Description

This exquisite piece hails from the renowned village of Lavar in Southwestern Persia. This rug is a magnificent example of a "Millefleur" (a thousand flowers) floral design, also known as "Persian Gardens." The intricate and captivating pattern, featuring countless blossoms, is set against a rich and elegant dark blue field. The corners of the field are beautifully articulated with a multi-hued palette of ivory, pink, pale blue, green, and red, adding a sense of depth and visual complexity.

A stunning cream-colored central medallion with its own array of flowers in different colors serves as a radiant focal point, drawing the eye and balancing the all-over floral design. The primary border, also in a deep dark blue, is adorned with a continuous flower design that gracefully frames the central composition.
