Description
9’ 10” x 12’ 4″ Vintage Persian Khorassan room size hand-knotted rug in a floral pattern circa the 2nd quarter of the 1900s. The rug has a unique " near square" size with a scrolling vines design. The Khorassan rug has a beautiful design consisting of scrolls filled with colorful flowers that cover the dark blue color field. The scrolls are like branches with flowers hanging from the scrolls. The use of bright colors of turquoise, red, blue, green, yellow, and ivory adds to the beauty and the cheerful nature of the rug. The border of the rug has the design of large flower bouquets combining the unique design and color scheme.
