19th Century Persian Malayer runner in an allover Herati pattern.  The beautiful Malayer runner was woven in the last quarter of the 19th century in the NW region of Persia.  The rug has a classic Herati pattern set in a navy blue background.  The design elements include brilliant colors of turquoise, brown, rust red, yellow, and orange.  The design of animal forms throughout the field add to the uniqueness and beauty of this village woven rug.  The runner has a triple border design with the similar color scheme as the field.   Truly a fantastic creation that adds beauty and grace to any space that is used.
