Vintage Persian Malayer gallery rug in an overall paisley pattern shows the masterwork of Malayer weavers from Persia around the late 1800s. The paisley pattern on the blue background with a predominantly a rare saffron color border with the red, pink, green and blue flower design make this a true masterpiece.

Date of Manufacture:  4th Quarter of the 1800s
Place of Origin:  Persia
Material:  Wool pile on a cotton foundation with natural vegetable dyes
