$24,900.00
Rare and highly desirable gallery-size Persian "Manchester" Kashan in an allover design set in a medium burgundy field color with a beautiful vase design.  The design contains a profusion of wonderful rich colors including teal, navy, red, green, pink, yellow, and brown.   The border is in French blue with a floral design.  It is difficult to capture the beauty of this rug in photos!

The "Manchester" designation comes from the very fine and vibrant Merino wool that was imported to Persia from Manchester England to be used in weaving very fine rugs. The wool is extremely soft and has a lustrous luxury and richness which shows in the rug. The "Manchester Kashan" rugs are renowned worldwide for their beauty because of their brilliant design and the high quality of the wool used in weaving the carpet.
