4' 11" x 7' Wonderful vintage Qashqai tribal area rug from the mid 1900s from the Lori or Qashqai tribes of Southwest Persia. A large medallion almost covers the whole rug with small geometric designs in various colors set throughout the medallion. It has dark blue spandrels with small geometric forms. The rug has a very unique design with all-natural vegetable dyes which adds to the beauty of the rug.

Date of Manufacture: 1st Quarter of the 1900s
Place of Origin: Persia
Material: Wool pile on a wool foundation with natural vegetable dyes
Condition: Wear consistent with age and use
