Curated Collection of Authentic 19th and The Early 20th Century Fine Handwoven Rugs, Tapestries and Textiles From Around the World

$4,500.00

A beautiful Persian Serab runner from the first quarter of the 20th century, featuring a finely balanced geometric design woven with traditional craftsmanship. This antique runner is set on a soft ivory field and showcases a dynamic column of five connected diamond medallions in vivid shades of French blue, golden yellow, and deep red—each rendered with striking precision.

The rug is framed by two distinct borders: an inner ivory band decorated with intricate geometric motifs in red, yellow, and blue; and an outer border with a rare abrash blue-green ground that adds depth and tonal variation. The runner's structure is typical of Serab weaving traditions, known for their durability, tribal geometry, and harmonious color combinations.

Perfect for a hallway, entryway, or narrow living space, this Serab runner brings authenticity, energy, and color into any traditional or contemporary interior. A true collector’s piece that honors the artistry of early 20th-century Persian village weaving.
