6’ 6” x 9’ 7” A beautiful room-size Persian Tabriz in a floral pattern with wonderful colors of moss green, ivory, and pewter from the early 1900s. The rug has a wonderful design and a very unique and rare color combination. It has a caramel or wheat field color with large scrolling lines going around the field. The corner spandrels are in moss green and cream colors. The border is in a shade of pewter. There is a central medallion in cream color with accent designs in pink, cream, and pale green. The accent colors in the field include French blue, baby blue, cream, and navy blue. The color shades change drastically depending on what end of the rug one looks at it. The border is in a cappuccino color with design accent colors in French blue, pink, brown, yellow, green, and red. Truly a masterpiece in design and the use of colors.
