4’ 3” x 5’ 10" 19th Century Turkish Sivas Area Rug with Floral and Fauna Design in pale green, red, lavender, and yellow colors. The rug is in the garden design with animal figures including deer, lion, and birds. The overall design is simplistic but very charming. The overall design is reminiscent of the rugs from 16th century Persian and Agra carpets. The rug has a beautiful antique camel field with the corner spandrels in pale lavender color. It has a fabulous central medallion in a rust red color. Beautifully unique form central medallion in dark red color with a great design. Overall a beautiful rug with a great color scheme that would work in any design.
