Heriz 1160

This vibrant vintage Persian Heriz rug, crafted in the first quarter of the 20th century.  The rich brick red field serves as the backdrop for a striking central medallion in antique ivory, framed by medallion corners in shades of red and deep blue. Accents of green, pink, yellow, and white are artfully woven throughout, adding energy and movement to the geometric composition.

The rug's corners are rendered in an antique white tone, filled with intricate multicolor motifs in red, green, blue, and yellow that provide both harmony and contrast. The deep navy border grounds the overall design, detailed with ornate patterns in yellow, green, brown, and red.
