This early example of Afshar weaving is a true masterpiece of tribal artistry, featuring a finely executed allover geometric design that reflects the skill and vision of a single artisan. Set against a deep navy blue field, the rug is adorned with intricately rendered motifs in golden yellow, brown, green, and various shades of blue. A striking Persian blue border frames the composition with elegance and balance.
