3’ 7” x 4’ 8” A Persian Farahan area rug from the late 1800s. Beauty, sophisticated design, and palate of natural dyes brought together in this 4th quarter 19th-century rug. The Ferahan rug with the Persian Garden design from the last quarter of the 19th century comes in an extremely fine weave. The rug with this fineness and use of material and color is extraordinary. The color combination especially the use of the yellow saffron color in the field adds to the richness and the beauty of the rug.
