What truly sets this rug apart is its absolutely stunning and remarkably rare "Gol Farang" border. "Gol Farang" is a Persian phrase meaning "Foreign Flower," referring to the elegant floral designs found in antique French Aubusson rugs of the 19th century and earlier. This beautiful border is uniquely set on an abrash light blue/green color background, where subtle, natural tonal variations beautifully highlight the "foreign flower" motifs.
