7’ 10” x 9’ 11” A “near square size” Turkish Serpai from the late 1800s. The design and the color scheme of this Serapi is very desirable especially having a pale yellow/ivory field color which is very rare. In addition, the wonderful green center medallion, and corner spandrels add to the unique beauty of the rug. The Serapi rug has an open field design and beautiful natural colors including green, yellow, pink, and blue in the corners and throughout the field. A dark blue color border frames this beautiful carpet from the late 1800s.
