An exceptional example of Persian craftsmanship, this fine room-size Tabriz rug features a richly detailed floral pattern woven in a vibrant rust-red field, elegantly framed by a light brown caramel-toned border. Handwoven in the fourth quarter of the 20th century by one of Tabriz’s finest workshops, this rug has never been used and remains in pristine, like-new condition.
The design is elevated by luxurious silk highlights and a unique, sophisticated color palette, including standout spandrels in baby blue and French blue tones. Additional accents of red, green, and blue are intricately incorporated throughout, creating a harmonious and vibrant composition.
