Description

A magnificent Persian Tabriz square rug hand-woven in one of the most esteemed workshops in the historic city of Tabriz.  This rug bears the signature craftsmanship of the master weaver Shirfar, a name synonymous with excellence. The unique square size of this piece is a rare find, adding to its uniqueness and desirability as a centerpiece for any well-designed room.

This elegant rug features a luminous cream field that serves as a pristine canvas for its intricate floral design. The beautiful floral motifs are woven in a bright and beautiful palette, showcasing the masterful use of color. The field is expertly framed by a delicate light pink border, with the corner spandrels echoing the same gentle pink and serene blue tones, creating a harmonious and sophisticated composition.

Crafted with a soft wool pile on a durable cotton foundation, the rug is further enhanced with a special feature: silk highlights. These silk fibers are meticulously woven into the floral designs, subtly catching the light and adding a luxurious shimmer that elevates the rug to an extraordinary level of craftsmanship.
