6’ 9” x 7’ 1”     A very rare square-size Tabriz rig.  The rug has a cream color field with a light pink color border.  The corner spandrels are also ling pink and blue colors.  It has a wool pile on a cotton foundation with silk highlights.  The beautiful Tabriz in floral design comes in bright and beautiful colors and a wonderful design from the workshop of master Shirfar which is considered one of the best in the city of Tabriz which is a major rug weaving center in Persia. The rare square size adds to the uniqueness of the rug.
