Curated Collection of Authentic 19th and The Early 20th Century Fine Handwoven Rugs, Tapestries and Textiles From Around the World

$5,900.00

A beautifully preserved vintage Persian Heriz area rug from the second quarter of the 20th century, this piece presents a striking medallion design in a vibrant and balanced palette. The richly colored red and cream field highlights the classic angular geometry for which Heriz rugs are celebrated, while the deep navy central medallion anchors the composition with bold contrast. The primary border, also in navy, features stylized leaf motifs rendered in French blue, red, and green, creating an elegant frame for the interior design. Woven with high-quality wool and showcasing a full, thick pile, this smaller-format Heriz rug is both rare and highly desirable. Its robust structure and exceptional condition make it ideal for adding authenticity, texture, and character to both traditional and eclectic spaces.
