5’ 8” x 8’ 1”  Vintage Tabriz design area rug in floral pattern in French blue, green, ivory, and brown colors.  The design of the rug is similar to the classic Persian rugs that were woven in the 16th and 17th centuries. The use of the fine wool and wonderful colors makes the design so vibrant with finely defined lines.    It has a central medallion design in French blue, green, brown, and pink.  The Persian Tabriz has a very desirable cream color field which makes the floral design stand out.  The leaves and flowers in the field are in brilliant colors including French blue, caramel, navy blue, green, and red.   The corner spandrels are in caramel and French blue with accent colors in green, navy blue and red.  The border is in a cream color with a similar design and colors to the field.
