Description
10’ 6” x 22’ 2” The Turkish Kazak design rug has an all-over geometric pattern that was hand-knotted in the manner of the rugs from the Caucasus in the early 1900s. The field has a beautiful pale teal color with geometric design shapes in red, green, blue, ivory, and pink colors throughout. There are six guard borders and the main border whose design is found on Gendje and Karabagh rugs from the Caucasus region. The uniqueness of this Turkish Kazak carpet is that the design of a Caucasian carpet which usually comes in small area rugs has been reimagined and realized in an oversize rug.
